“Love Child” 36”x24” acrylic & ink on canvas
I don’t know of too many people(read: any people) who aren’t familiar with these colors and what they stand for. The name of this piece alludes to the idea of LA gangs- which now plague every hood across the nation- being the result or “love child” of racism and poverty. Those two things combined for any people— black, white, or other— can and will breed huge problems that of course, need solutions… even if they’re not the best ones. -TZ
And here we see the Virgin and Child emerging from the mystical Sky Vagina. Pretty standard Christian mythology, really.

AOTL Painting: All of the Lights was such an epic song to me that I had to paint it. I tried to include every instrument in some form or another that I heard in both the song and that beautiful ass interlude. Did I miss something? Probably,but ahh well! Enjoy the art. -TZ
